Meg - Cason's mommy This is a birthday present for my soon to be ONE year old son...he hasn't gotten it yet, but loves playing with the little people toys. I'm excited for him to have this set...I know it will provide years of fun!

3 under 3 This product like many many battery operated toys is just too noisy and distracting. At the 12-24 month age group, my kids enjoy toys that make noise for instant feedback and learning consequences. The music on this toy is too long. By the time it is over, my kids are no longer interested. Also, I wish the noise was productive in teaching animal sounds with the corresponding animal and/or sounds of door opening, something sliding. The toys is enjoyed by my 16MO twins more with the sound off.

They enjoy the animals and opening and closing the doors. They push the animals in and around the Farm. I would prefer if the fense pieces were attached and then fold in on themselves when not needed. It does have a lot of peices for a simple toy.

Rachel the FTM My now 17 month old son got this for Christmas. He plays with it daily- even if it is only to destroy the scene that I set up for him. The barn is a good value for the money. At roughly $30, I believe this will be a good investment. I forsee him playing with this more over time, as he grows, rather than less. Appears safe- no sharp edges or small pieces that have popped off. Holding up well to daily toddler play. Makes cow, horse, and sheep noises when you open the doors. Sings songs, & makes duck & chicken noises when you turn the dial. Sounds could become boring to an older child, but we will be adding accessory pieces, to encourage extended play.

Calvin's mom My 14 month old son loves this. The pieces are small enough for him to grab and big enough so they are not a choking hazard. The paint on the animals is durable and doesn't come off when nibbled by little teeth. He figured out how to use the gates and the silo for the sounds fairly quick however catapulting cows over the barn with the chute above the stable gets a laugh every time. We do wish there were more things to go with it though. A tractor and more animals would have been nice. All in all a great product a recommended buy.

PapayaMom I bought this for my 14 month old daughter for Christmas 2013. She plays with it everyday. She loves to open and close the doors to make the cow and horse noises. She regularly takes the horse around the house with her making a galloping noise (it's extra cute).

When it arrived in the mail, it was stuck on nighttime mode. I removed the back of the piece near the dial and it turns out the spring had fallen out. I re-seated it and voila! The toy works again.

I am inspired to purchase more little people products for her to play with based on her positive reception of this play set.

Kathy Things I don't like: the chicken is attached, which is stupid - I think it should be separate, like the cow, sheep and horse. I also think it should have included a pig. The barn tips over easily - Fisher Price should have made it more sturdy. The sounds are loud and distracting. It doesn't hold my 14 mo old's attention very long.

Things I like: the songs are very cute, and the voices aren't annoying. The overall quality is pretty good. Despite the fact that it doesn't hold attention, my daughter returns to it regularly.

G My son loves this toy...the only gripe we have is that the dial (under the chicken) that switches the songs between a day and night theme doesn't work well. We returned the first one we bought because it didn't work at all and our currant one works okay...sometimes. When we were at the store getting a new one, all of the ones they had in the store had been opened or returned for the same reason. All in all my son loves it regardless of the defect.

Jackie This was a gift for my almost 2 yr old son, and he loves it! Its a great way for him to learn, role play, and have fun with Little People's farm! A great way to introduce animals visually, and learn what sounds they make, what they eat, and where they go when living on a farm. Not to mention the add ons for this are perfect for him to get the full effect of how fun, and exciting it can be. Very cute, great price!

momof2 This farm is much different than I remember as a kid. First of all, the sounds are obnoxious. Not only is there animal sounds that sound ridiculous but also some short annoying songs. The best thing to do with this toy is to take out the batteries and then let the kids use their own imagination and make their own sounds. Why does everything have to have annoying sounds and songs these days? The farm also tips over very easily and to some kids I guess this could be fun! Without batteries this toy is ok and will give me opportunity for one on one with my kids teaching them animal sounds and letting them play using their imagination.
